Why Should I Use Lotion?

Whether tanning indoors or outdoors, using lotions is more than beneficial . . . it's critical.  And using a product specifically formulated for indoor tanning use is essential to achieving a healthy-looking tan.  Many indoor tanning products feature specially designed tanning technologies that help encourage the tanning process while hydrating the skin and promoting darker and faster results.  So get more from your tan, and ask a staff member to help you select the indoor lotion that is right for you.

What Lotion Should I Use?

Whether you like the heat of a tingler, the added color of a bronzer, or just want a pure tanning accelerator, the staff of Underground Sun can help you find the perfect lotion for you.  Boasting the largest lotion selection in the area, Underground Sun is able to provide our tanners with an unmatched selection of high quality indoor tanning lotions and after-tan products for every price range.  Just answer a few questions and we can recommend a lotion that will dramatically improve your tanning experience as well as improve the health of your skin with firming, anti-aging, and hydrating ingredients.

Banned Products:

There are certain products out there that are banned from being used in our tanning shop.  Even though they say "indoor use" or another salon allows you to use them we do not.  These products will damage the acrylics on our beds.  They also do not meet the high standards that a tanner's skin demands.  Please ask a staff person before you bring in a product of your own.

Did you know that products purchased from unauthorized retailers, such as internet outlets or black markets can be counterfeit, stolen, old, under-filled, partially used, contaminated or otherwise manipulated? Don't buy from an unauthorized source! California Tan only guarantees the quality of products purchased from authorized distributors and retailers.

If you buy California Tan product from an unauthorized source, you are putting yourself at risk. Don't take any chances! Following are some reasons you should avoid product from unauthorized retailers…

It's not real.  Products from unauthorized outlets are often not the real deal. Black market and internet retailers have been known to refill or "water down" bottles with cheap, low quality formulas. You think you are getting a deal, but all you get is cheated.

It's used.  Unauthorized outlets often sell products that are intended for sampling and were previously used for this purpose. Therefore, the product you are buying may not be fresh, it may be partially used, or worse – it may be contaminated.

It's old.  California Tan works with its distributors and authorized retailers to ensure that the product you are buying is fresh and potent. Unauthorized dealers often acquire overstock product that is old or past its ideal usage date – then they try to sell those products to you!

It's not right for you.  The staff in your local tanning salon or spa knows you and can recommend the right product. Finding the right product is crucial to get the results you want. All black market sellers want to do is move product and make a quick dollar – they're not concerned with your tanning results.

You may not receive it.  Often times internet retailers keep your payment but never send you the product.

It might make you sick.  California Tan cannot guarantee the quality or authenticity of any product bought through unauthorized retail channels. If a bottle is old, used or refilled, it may be contaminated and could be harmful. Don't risk your health or safety!
